David Wayne Beckner, a former teacher at Grace Baptist School in the Gaylord area of Michigan, pleaded guilty in March 2020 to three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a student in 2006. In August 2020 he was sentenced in Otsego County Circuit Court to 10 to 15 years in prison.
