Carrie Perkins, a teacher at Parkview Christian School in Eufaula, Alabama, was convicted by a Houston County jury in January 2011 of rape and sodomy involving a student and was sentenced in February 2011 to 14 years in prison. In April 2011 she also pleaded guilty in Barbour County to six felony counts involving the same student.
