Caitlin Rock, a former Washoe County School District employee who worked at Billinghurst Middle School in Nevada as a resource for students with attendance issues, was found guilty by a jury in January 2026 on all 19 counts, including sexual assault of a child under 14, statutory sexual seduction and luring a child with computer technology, involving a 13-year-old student. On April 17, 2026, she was sentenced to life in prison, with parole eligibility after 144 years.
