Andrew Castro, a former physical education teacher at Lorca Elementary School in Chicago Public Schools, pleaded guilty to predatory criminal sexual assault of a child under 13, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and child exploitation. The victims were three boys who were students at the school. He was sentenced in January 2025 to 17 years in prison.
