Robert Denise, a former teacher at Cache La Poudre Junior High (now Cache La Poudre Middle School) in Poudre School District, pleaded guilty in April 2024 to three counts of sexual exploitation of a child. On June 20, 2024, he was sentenced to 16 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections followed by 10 years of sex offender intensive supervised probation and was required to register as a sex offender.
